OBJECTIVE—To investigate the characteristics and outcomes of older patients with pelvic fracture admitted to medical and geriatric wards. METHODS—All patients admitted to medical and geriatric wards with a pelvic fracture over a four year period were identified using the hospital clinical coding database.
